There is no doubt that weight loss is hard work but to achieve that perfect structure, you will have to eat less of your favorite food and depend on the healthy veggies with a lot of exercises. Most people cannot lose weight based on stopping food – because they can't-do without food, not even for a day! Exercise is then the best thing to get back to.


To lose more than 20 pounds of weight, cardiovascular, also known as cardio, exercises are the most effective type of exercises for weight loss. This is because they are very effective in increasing your heartbeat rate thereby helping you burn calories faster. Metabolic rate is also increased by this type of exercises – the metabolism is the rate at which the body burn calories to fuel your daily activities. More calories and fats are also burned by this type of exercises because there is increased metabolic rate even after the exercise.
Best workouts don’t usually work out if some things are not satisfied. Below are some of the things you should know before getting started on exercise regime for weight loss:

1. Check out your food choices (what you use to fuel your body) – this is more important than the type of workout choice you choose. To see more effect on your body changes, you will need to imbibe the habit of healthy eating.
2. Exercise? This should be one of your daily routines, and it should be done in a meaningful way. In this case, you can just aim for three different workouts if you are new in it or 5 to 6 sessions if you have been into it for a while. After each exercise session, make sure you have at least a full day to rest.
3. Finding and sticking to the workout you will enjoy doing is the best way to lose weight. When you enjoy it, you will likely stick to it, and it will greatly reduce your weight.

Some Specific Workouts That Will Make You Lose Weight
1. Interval Training


This is one of the best training methods that experts turn to over and over again for weight loss. The interval training is any form of exercise that makes your heart beat spikes up and down repeatedly. With your heart rate being elevated, your metabolism rate becomes purring, and this will make you burn more calories.
2. Weight Training

The weight training is referred to as the mother of weight loss techniques and is also the highest in the workout exercise trends. Weight training, which can either be by your body weight alone or by added weight, is a very effective method to help you drop pounds. You will burn a lot of calories after lifting weights because this will increase your inactive metabolic rate. This is called the “after-burn effect.”
3. Boot Camp

Are you in need of everyday burning off calories? You can turn to boot camp as this will keep your body metabolism elevated all day. The boot camp mostly combines two effective styles of training together that is the internal and the resistance. With short resting periods, you will have to perform exercises that focused more on the heart in the boot camp. This will help you lose calories as fast as possible and thereby reducing your weight.
4. Boxing

Boxing? Yes! This is one of the weight losing exercises. It is a form of internal training, and it will make you feel insanely badass. Please note that for boxing to be an effective weight loss form of exercise, you won’t have to use just your arm strength, but you will have to involve your muscles and your core strength.
5. Running and walking

Running can be just as a form of exercise if you just take your head out for a light jog and they can be done easily with just a pair of sneakers. But in this case whereby you are in need of a weight loss, you will have to find a hill to sprint up, or you have to crank the incline on that treadmill. When running up hills, you will be forced to work on your glutes and legs which are two groups that take much of your body’s biggest muscle. This will make you use more energy. With this, you will burn a lot of calories – thereby increasing weight loss. Walking is not as effective as running, but it impacts higher on your feet and legs because they will have to absorb more energy from the road surface. Don’t like walking on the road because of bad weather? No problem as you can make use of a treadmill in your home or a gym as it has a cushioned surface with less impact.
6. Yoga

Yoga? Though it may not be a great workout for weight loss, it can be your secret weapon for weight loss because it will keep you more flexible and healthy for your other workouts like the book-camp workout. Since yoga requires more stability and balance, it helps to promote mental health and functional health.
7. Cycling

Are you trying to lose weight without so much strain or injury? Provided that the cycling bike can support your weight. This does not require you to spend time in the gym or need of a specialist. With just a bike and a cycling helmet, you are good to go. This is a very easy and time saver form of exercise as you can just take a couple of cycles to your place of work or to the nearby store instead of using your car. You can even involve your family in this type of exercise.
8. Swimming

Swimming is also a weight loss form of exercise. It is usually meant for those that are injured or those that have done exercise for quite a while. The swimming makes it possible for your body weight to be supported by water – water provides the cushion for your body. If you don’t have any prior experience in swimming or you have experienced swim for a while, don’t just jump into the water. You will need to take a course on swimming or have a trainer by your side.

Other forms of the cardio exercises include the rowing machine and the elliptical trainer. These are available at the gym. The rowing machine efficiently works on the part of the body with major muscle group which makes it more effective for burning calories and fat while the elliptical takes the form of walking, running and cross-country skiing – you can just do all these in the elliptical exercise. The rowing machine and the elliptical trainer support your weight and also allow you to stretch out your arms.

All the above-listed exercises for effective weight loss can be fitted into your daily routine. This can be done easily most especially if you have purchased most of the machines for home use. It will make it easier to work in the comfort of your home. If you want to lose 20 to 50 pounds of weight easily, practice any of the above-listed exercises if not all and you should see the difference.
